Culinary Operations Manager

SMOKES POUTINERIE WESTDALE is seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our kitchen.
About the JobThis is a permanent, full-time position that requires a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field. Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required for this role.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for determining food portion sizes and costs, preparing and cooking meals, inspecting kitchens, ordering supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory records, cleaning work areas, and managing kitchen operations. They will also need to ensure that we maintain our high standards of cuisine specialties, which include Canadian and International dishes.
Work EnvironmentThe ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, such as standing for extended periods. They must also have strong attention to detail and be able to work under pressure.
BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include free parking, flexible hours (30-40 hours per week), and a permanent work term. The work language is English.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, applicants must be legally able to work in Canada and have previous experience in the culinary industry. Judgement, dependability, organization, reliability, and teamwork are essential skills for success in this position.
