Bayer AG is committed to fostering a culture of excellence in medical science liaison. As a leading pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and other key stakeholders in the cardiorenal therapeutic area. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical research, real-world evidence, and health economic outcomes research. The MSL will also be responsible for facilitating TL involvement in international, national, and regional initiatives, including advisory boards, learning programs, Continuing Medical Education (CME), research and publications.

This field-based position will cover the Ontario East & Atlantic territories. We are offering a 14-month contract position, commensurate with experience. Salary estimate: $95,000 - $115,000 per year.

Key responsibilities:

  • Exchange and dissemination of scientific educational, and research related information
  • TL identification, profiling, segmentation and engagement planning
  • Responsible for generating TL insights on current clinical practice, beliefs and unmet medical needs
  • Keep abreast with latest scientific research on therapeutic area and develop strong understanding of Bayer's market strategies

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with at least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing medical affairs role or experience in drug information, clinical research and development, or other clinical relevant activities. A Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is required, with an advanced degree preferred. Experience learning and using digital technology to develop communications, brand / TA campaigns and/or conduct analysis of medical data and generate insights is also essential.
