About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manager - Acute Care/Emergency to join our team at the Rocky Mountain House Health Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Acute Care and Emergency department, ensuring high-quality patient care and supporting the organization's vision, mission, and business plan.

About You

You will have a strong leadership background, with experience in directing teams and making key decisions. Your excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and relationship-building expertise will enable you to inspire and motivate your team to achieve excellence in patient-centered care.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

In this key leadership role, you will:

  • Manage the daily operations of the Acute Care and Emergency department
  • Recruit, select, and develop staff to meet operational needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Foster a culture of quality improvement and safety within the department
  • Manage the operating budget and resources within the assigned portfolio

Required Qualifications

  • A degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, health administration)
  • Significant leadership experience in healthcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
