Job Summary
Interior Health Authority is seeking a Clinical Data Coordinator to join our team. This is a casual position that requires strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Clinical Data Coordinator, you will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and storing patient information in both paper and electronic formats. You will also provide secretarial support to Managers and Physicians, including data entry functions for various clinical registries and databases.

About the Role
This position involves performing clerical duties related to the preparation, maintenance, and storage of patient information. You will conduct quantitative analysis to ensure accuracy of patient records, monitor and maintain an electronic tracking system for deficient patient charts, and type technical and non-technical material for Managers and Physicians. Additionally, you will retrieve, organize, and file patient records, reports, and other documents, as well as answer inquiries regarding patient information in accordance with legislative statutes and established policies.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a current 5-minute typing test with a speed of 55 words per minute or greater, completed within the past 48 months from a recognized institution. You should also have proof of completion of a Medical Terminology Course and two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work is also required.
