About the Role

As an instructor in our Health Care Aide program, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their careers. Your expertise will be invaluable in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver curriculum content from the Government of Alberta Health Care Aide curriculum
  • Carry out instructional duties in class, lab, and clinical settings
  • Develop and implement learning materials, assessments, and evaluations
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
Requirements
  • Current regulated nursing professional (RN, RPN, NP, or LPN) licensure in Alberta with a good standing membership in CLPNA/CRNA
  • A minimum of one year (1500 hours) of full-time clinical nursing or nursing education experience within the last three years
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations, including regional and rural sites
  • Gerontology care experience is recommended
