About the Position

This is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Research Assistant in Housing Policy. As a key member of our research unit, you will be responsible for conducting research related to housing policy in Manitoba.

Job Description
  • Conduct research on housing policy in Manitoba, working closely with project leads to design, implement, and analyze studies.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge about Canadian public policy and jurisdictional roles and responsibilities related to housing policy.
  • Collaborate with the research team to collect and analyze data, including primary and secondary sources.
  • Write reports and other materials that communicate research findings to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A Master's or Ph.D. degree in social sciences or planning with a focus on public policy in the Canadian context.
  • Research experience related to housing policy and an understanding of housing policy in Manitoba are preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
