We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at GameDay Men's Health Midtown Toronto. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide compassionate and high-quality care to men seeking health support.

Job Summary

This role encompasses assessments, patient education, and the administration of treatments, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial patient assessments and gather health history.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and document patient progress and medical information, including vital signs and responses to treatments.
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on men's health issues.
  • Foster a caring and supportive environment for patients to discuss their health concerns.

$30-$40 per hour based on experience, with opportunities for professional growth and development in the field of men's health. We offer a collaborative and team-oriented work environment, flexible scheduling, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of men in your community.

Requirements:
  • Current and active license with the provincial College of Nurses.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in men's health or primary care, is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient education.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
