Job Description

The Critical Incident Response Specialist will contribute to the overall success of Security Operations in Canada, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. This role requires analyzing identified issues, trends, and risks, and coordinating an appropriate response based on established criteria. The successful candidate will also be responsible for disseminating findings to create a common operating picture and situational awareness to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial triage and response to incidents and requests that have or may impact our customers, facilities, people, infrastructure, or reputation.
  • Support Bank's regulatory obligations relevant to local governing bodies.
  • Operationalize the retrieval and preparation of evidence and supporting documents for use by internal customers and external partners.
  • Maintain current knowledge of bank policies and regulations and comply with legal and regulatory requirements globally.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • An undergraduate degree, college diploma, or equivalent related experience.
  • Experience in Critical Incident Management, Security, Law Enforcement, Financial Services, Dispatching, Call Centre, Customer Service, or Information Technology.
  • A working knowledge of Bank IT applications, systems, and security controls.
  • A high degree of fluency in English required, with excellent written communication skills; French/Spanish desirable.
