Job Title: Paralegal Assistant

Nathanson Seaman Watts is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal Assistant to join our team. As a Paralegal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team, including maintaining filing systems, preparing and keying in correspondence and legal documents, and reviewing and proofreading documents to ensure compliance with legal procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain filing systems and ensure all documents are properly organized and up-to-date
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents, including letters, memos, and reports
  • Review and proofread documents to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, as well as maintain a calendar of upcoming events and deadlines
  • Provide general administrative support to the legal team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and performing other tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as law or business administration
