Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care and ensuring seamless interactions with healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:- Patient Care Coordination: Coordinate with healthcare providers to gather additional details, clarify referral information, and ensure the timely processing of referrals for optimal patient care.
- Communication: Respond promptly to client and team communications, including emails, phone calls, and in-person inquiries. Triage urgent requests while maintaining professionalism and compassion in every interaction.
- Certification: Medical Office Assistant Certification (preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Office Assistant in primary healthcare
- Skill Set: Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Teams
