About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to provide academic support to secondary school students in various subjects. As an Academic Support Specialist, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, administering assessments, and providing one-on-one instruction to students. Your expertise in teaching methods and materials will enable you to design and deliver effective learning programs that cater to diverse student needs.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents. Your passion for education, combined with your teaching experience and technical skills, will make you an ideal candidate for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Administer assessments and evaluations to measure student progress and understanding
  • Provide one-on-one instruction and guidance to students, adapting your teaching approach to meet their individual needs
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of academic programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in teaching or tutoring secondary school students
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a generous paid time off policy.
