Job Title: Server - Food and Beverage Services Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Delight Indian Bistro Ltd. as a Food and Beverage Services Professional. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit, or debit cards.
  • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers.
  • Advise customers on menu selections and make recommendations.
  • Balance cash and record sales accurately.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Describe and advise customers on wine selection.
  • Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
  • Stand for extended periods, moving around the restaurant to provide excellent customer service.

  • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Reliability to maintain a high level of customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Team player to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
