Job Summary

Providence Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team in the Outpatient Area. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Two years recent related renal experience, including 1 year of patient teaching experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
