Chief Medical Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer to join our team at CLevelCrossing. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for leading strategic medical management activities that contribute to the performance of our organization and promote patient flow and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to Program and Service Directors and Site Medical Managers, creating an environment that supports creativity and innovation.
  • Ensure Medical Staff are aware of and comply with the Medical Staff By-laws, Rules, and Regulations as well as Hospital and ACCESS Centre policies and procedures.
  • Recruit and retain physicians, and provide leadership and assistance in expanding the physician network and building partnerships with local fee-for-service physicians.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible management and leadership in medical and healthcare administration.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies such as LEAN is an asset.
  • Medical degree and current license to practice medicine in the Province of Manitoba.
