Job Description

We are seeking an experienced collision repair specialist to join our team at Forest Hill Auto Body Co. LTD.

About the Role
  • This is a permanent position with 40-44 hours of work per week.
  • The language of communication in the workplace is English.

To be successful in this role, you will require a secondary school graduation certificate and have at least 5 years of experience in the field.

Work Setting

Please note that relocation costs are not covered by the employer, however, we are willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

As a collision repair specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Estimating repair costs based on damage examination reports.
  • Inspecting repaired vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Planning repair work to maximize efficiency.
  • Providing exceptional customer service with professionalism.
  • Testing driving vehicles for handling to ensure their safety.
  • Cleaning and maintaining workspaces to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Instructing apprentices to help them develop their skills.
  • Replacing front-end, body, and underbody components as needed.
  • Filing, grinding, and sanding body surfaces to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Masking and taping surfaces for painting to ensure a professional finish.
  • Repairing or replacing interior components to restore vehicles to their original condition.
  • Mixing paint and matching colors to ensure a precise match.
  • Operating soldering equipment or plastic filler to make necessary repairs.
  • Straightening bent frames using frame pulling and anchoring equipment.
Area of Work Experience

Your area of work experience should include:

  • Doors and frame assembly.
  • Frame straightening techniques.
  • Metal cutting and shaping.
  • Paint spraying and application.
  • Underbody component replacement.
  • Welding and metal joining.
