Senior HRIS Analyst (Workday) Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior HRIS Analyst to join our team at Meltwater Group. This role focuses on ongoing improvements of Workday, the center of our HR technology ecosystem, in support of HR initiatives and business growth while delivering an engaging employee and manager experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to understand business needs, define requirements, and architect, configure, test, and support systemic solutions in assigned functional areas of Workday.
  • Provide Workday subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development, including business process configuration, reporting, mass data processing (EIB), testing, and other troubleshooting support.
  • Collaborate with other internal and external SMEs in the Workday ecosystem to leverage knowledge, alternative solutions, and best practices to ensure a holistic best-practice approach.
  • Mentor and guide more junior colleagues for their roles in leading processes/practices, configuration, and testing.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with Workday functional configuration across three or more HCM modules, such as Payroll, Absence, and Time-Tracking, supporting a mid-to-large-sized business.
  • 3+ years of experience with cross-functional Workday administration, including security design and business process management.
  • 2+ years of experience in HRIS project management, including analysis, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.
  • Proven Workday functional expertise in assigned areas of support, including awareness of what Workday can and cannot do, familiarity with delivered functionality and reports, and experience performing straightforward administrative tasks in Workday.
  • Compliance experience in PII, GDPR, SOX preferred.

  • Competitive Compensation – Base Salary of $98,000 - $116,000 CAD per year + annual bonus of 10%, subject to the terms of the applicable bonus plan.
