Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation: Load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and place dishes in storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, handle and store cleaning products, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
