Job Summary

Simplot Canada (II) Limited is a leading agricultural company with a diverse range of operations. We are seeking a highly skilled Raw Product Accounting Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Prepare and maintain grower contracts, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Financial Management: Reconcile daily tickets, prepare financial reports, and ensure the integrity of our accounting systems.
  • Inventory and Quality Data Management: Review grade data, manage inventory accuracy, and maintain contract balances within the accounting system.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare weekly reports for the Raw Department and utilize advanced Excel skills to update and manage multiple spreadsheets.
  • Vendor and Grower Relations: Respond to grower inquiries, work with vendors to ensure prompt payments, and effectively communicate with members of the Raw Department and Plant Accounting.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience managing complex spreadsheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with growers and vendors.
