Cyber Security Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in the UK. This is a remote role that involves configuring security controls, researching threats, and managing security testing.

  • Configure and improve security controls, including vulnerability management, to ensure optimal security posture.
  • Research and analyze security threats, weaknesses, and vulnerabilities to develop effective countermeasures.
  • Manage internal and external security testing, including red, blue, and purple team exercises, as well as security assurance testing.
  • Provide operational insights for the evaluation and selection of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Configure and fine-tune cybersecurity tools and solutions, including firewalls, vulnerability management tools, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems.

Requirements: 2-3 years of experience in security operations, with a desire to progress into security engineering. We offer flexible remote working arrangements.

About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the configuration of security controls, researching threats, and managing security testing.

Compensation Package: The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
