Culinary Professional - Typhoon Cafe Corp.

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Typhoon Cafe Corp. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Your expertise will also be utilized to train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, as well as ordering supplies and equipment. Additionally, you will supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Food Safety Certificate

Work Setting: Restaurant

Tasks:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
