Job Summary
The Social Worker will participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of social work programs and services at Fraser Health. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Social Work and three years of clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Manager, Health Services to develop and maintain social work clinical practice standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assume the clinical caseload for Fraser Hope Lodge and Fraser Canyon Hospital and act on referrals from staff, community based agencies, self and/or family referrals.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate treatment of clients in accordance with Fraser Health standards and the Social Work Code of Ethics.
- Model and facilitate a client-focused, goal-directed, interdisciplinary professional practice model.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work.
- Three years' recent, clinical experience or an equivalent combination of social work education, training, and experience.
- Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
