Job Title: Food Service Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at DB8888 Limited Partnership. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports to management.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Work Environment: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail. You will be standing for extended periods and working in a team environment.
Personal Suitability: We are looking for a candidate who is client-focused, efficient in interpersonal skills, and has excellent oral communication skills. You will be required to provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
