Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at B.C. LTD. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 hours per week
