Job Title: Baker/1st Pastry Cook

Location: Araxi

Reports to: Executive Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Baker/1st Pastry Cook to join our culinary team at Araxi. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in preparing ingredients and dishes under the supervision of our Executive Chef.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients and dishes to a high standard, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Work closely with the Pastry Chef to create and design bread, cakes, and viennoise.
  • Support the completion of daily cleaning tasks and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Sample ingredients, mix, and finish products to ensure standards, quality, and created flavor profiles are met.
  • Meet production schedules and timelines.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Completion of a designated culinary school.
  • Minimum 6 months baking/pastry work experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and have an eye for detail.
  • Team-oriented and organized, with excellent English language communication skills.
