This challenging yet rewarding position involves monitoring financial data, preparing detailed reports, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Job Summary
We are offering a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year for this full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project costs and expenses to ensure accurate cost allocation and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify cost trends and variances, conducting thorough variance analysis to highlight discrepancies between planned and actual costs.
- Assist in the development and management of project forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate budget updates.
- Monitor budget performance and report on variances, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
- Support project managers in forecasting project costs and updating budgets, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
- Prepare detailed cost structure reports and statements, including variance analyses, to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost structure records, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in all financial systems and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices for cost management and control, identifying opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong foundation in financial principles and regulations.
- Five years of experience in cost analysis, financial analysis, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving cost savings and efficiency.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with expertise in financial software and tools, including MS Office and Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills, enabling effective collaboration and results-oriented work habits.
