We are seeking a Health Care Aide to join our team at Shepherd's Care Barrhead, a supportive living care facility located in the community of Barrhead.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide support, advocacy, and choice to residents and their families, ensuring the highest quality of resident-focused care. As a member of the clinical care team, the Health Care Aide will assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, meal service, and mobility/transfer in a safe and caring manner.

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, meal service, and mobility/transfer
- Work collaboratively with the clinical care team to ensure the highest quality of resident-focused care
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
To be successful in this role, you will need to be registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory, have completed Bridging Modules if required, and be able to read, write, and speak English effectively. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are also essential.
