Job Title: Powder Coater - Metal Finishing Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our team at TOP PLUS EMPLOYMENT INC. As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for coating metal surfaces using various techniques, including electroplating and hot-dip metal plating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check the proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers, or other devices.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal, hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal, and spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts.
  • Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications.
  • Select appropriate paint or mix paints to achieve the desired finish.
  • Tend automatic metal coating machines that convey objects through a series of cleaning, rinsing, and plating solutions.
  • Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat metal surfaces.

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and reliability in a physically demanding role.

Working Conditions:

  • Work site environment: dusty, hot, and odorous.
  • Weight handling: up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work Hours: 40 hours per week
