Milestones Grill & Bar Job Description

We are seeking a skilled line cook to join our culinary team at Milestones Grill & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and requisitioning supplies as needed.
  • Culinary Operations: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Train and supervise kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.

Milestones Grill & Bar is a fast-paced, physically demanding environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
