Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Release Manager to join our team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the release process for our Oracle Unifier configuration and package management.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the release process for Oracle Unifier configuration and package management, ensuring timely and efficient deployment.
  • Develop and maintain a schedule of events per environment, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
  • Manage deployment checklists to each environment for each release by release type, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain a Configuration Management Plan, ensuring accurate tracking and management of configuration packages and non-configuration package changes.
  • Prepare Release Notes for End Users, providing clear and concise information on new features and enhancements.
  • Track and manage configuration packages and non-configuration package changes in each environment, ensuring compliance with ITGC standards.
  • Manage CAB (Production Change Advisory Board) approval in accordance with TDS Change control standard, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
  • Satisfy ITGC (IT General Controls) for Release and Configuration Management, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Oracle Unifier configuration and package management experience, with a strong understanding of Azure Dev Ops.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CCP, CEP, PMP or other similar designations considered an asset.
