Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Speech-Language Therapist to join our team at Social Dynamics Therapy Services Inc. The successful candidate will work with individuals of various ages, backgrounds, and communication needs, providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services.

About the Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders, including speech, language, voice, resonance, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing issues.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address identified deficits, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions, working closely with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure effective communication strategies and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a Speech-Language Therapist, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of communication disorders, assessment tools, and treatment methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Flexibility to work in various settings, including clinics, schools, and client homes.
