Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2188039 ALBERTA INC. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring that stock levels are maintained.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet high quality standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
