We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at AGR SOLUTIONS LIMITED. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging as needed.
- Work on the road job and be willing to travel to different locations.
- Support newcomers and refugees by recruiting and mentoring them, and providing diversity and cross-cultural training.
- Support Indigenous people by offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities, and providing cultural competency training.
- Support visible minorities by applying hiring policies that discourage discrimination and providing diversity and cross-cultural training.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and finishing.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Ability to work on the road job and travel to different locations.
- Ability to support newcomers and refugees, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Permanent employment.
- 40 hours per week.
- English language of work.
