Pipefitter Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipefitter Specialist to join our team at Canadian Plains. This is a project-based position with a duration of approximately 1 month, commencing on May 6th.

• This role will be based in Battleford and involves working on various projects related to pipe systems, pipe supports, and hydraulic equipment.
• You will be responsible for laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems, as well as mentoring junior staff members.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid Journeyperson Pipefitter ticket, H2S Alive, and Standard First Aid certifications, as well as a non-graduated driver's license.

• Measure and assemble piping and valves.
• Read, interpret, and red-line construction drawings and blueprints.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members.
• Hydrotest, assemble, and install pipe spools in the fabrication facility.

A successful candidate will have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints. You will also need to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.

• Shift rotation: 15/6
• Travel: up to 4 hours/day (paid)
• Lifting capacity: up to 50 pounds
• Standing time: long periods

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. In addition to your salary, you will receive paid leave of absence (LOA) and travel allowances.
