Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Brand Management Growth Leader to drive growth strategies for our brand across all functions. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and will be based in Vancouver or remotely in Toronto or the US (PST or CST timezone).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth agenda/go-to-market plan for the brand, including consumer target, brand positioning, channels, and category impact.
  • Lead integrated execution of go-to-market plans across all functions, ensuring commercialization efforts are aligned against a common goal.
  • Project manage and ensure executional excellence of important company-wide commercialization initiatives.
  • Take a general manager view of the business, tracking revenue, in-market performance, and profit while identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Champion company understanding of consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and consumer/category trends, synthesizing and communicating these insights to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales to drive growth at key customers through SmartSweets brands, representing brand management and marketing to strategic customers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Director to drive marketing excellence, developing OGSTs, determining KPIs, evaluating results, and summarizing marketing performance to the Company/Board.
  • Lead paid advertising strategy, ROI evaluation, and improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in CPG brand management, with at least 4 years in the US market.
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills, with proficiency working with large data sources and outside parties to field episodic consumer research.
  • Passion for building a brand via deep consumer understanding and delivering consumer value.
  • Strong communication skills, including both written and oral, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Leader and Doer: inspire strategic thinking while rolling up sleeves and moving fast in a startup environment.
  • Excellent team player/interpersonal skills/managing others, with proven success in collaborating with Sales to drive growth with customers.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000, based on factors such as geographic location and level of skills and experience. This role is eligible for participation in a bonus program based on performance and company results. The benefits package includes:
