Heavy Duty Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Truck Driver to join our team at NS CHAUHAN TRUCKING LTD.
About the Role:- This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a guaranteed minimum of 45-50 hours per week.
- The successful candidate will be required to work independently, managing their own routes and schedules.
- Loading and Unloading Goods: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
- Inspections and Reporting: Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, and complete all necessary reports and documentation.
- Cargo Management: Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transport, using tarps as required.
- A valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and Air Brakes Endorsement are mandatory.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in long-haul trucking is preferred.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English and operate GPS navigation equipment is essential.
