Liquor Store Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team at Plaza Liquor Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet business needs
  • Authorize payments, order merchandise, and manage inventory
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient storage
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of sales workers, ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience for customers
Support for Diverse Groups:
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, Veterans, and Indigenous people
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
