We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team as an Advanced Airway Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert airway management services, working closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


Salary Information


The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly salary range of $32.43 - $40.66, reflecting their expertise and experience in advanced airway management.


Key Responsibilities


As an Advanced Airway Management Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:



  • Providing expert airway management services, including initiation and management of invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
  • Working closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Delivering and managing the administration of oxygen and other compressed gases, aerosolized medications, and high humidity therapies
  • Evaluating effectiveness of respiratory care plans and making recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to achieve physician goals and objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Graduate of a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy
  • Registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists
  • CPR and ACLS certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective planning and communication skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility to adjust to changing needs
