Machining Specialist

Magnetite Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Machining Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture high-precision parts.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and Operation of CNC Machines: Configure and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts with high accuracy and precision.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on manufactured parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production and quality control processes.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Mastercam CAD/CAM software and experience with CNC machine tools.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Measuring Tools: Familiarity with callipers and verniers.
- Computer and Technology: Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
