The salary for this position is in the range of $106,914 - $159,666, depending on the level of experience.

Job Description

This is a medium-level legal position with 4 to 10 years call to the bar. The successful candidate will provide legal opinions and conduct litigation for cases of moderate complexity for SGI at all levels of the court. They will also provide advice and guidance to junior lawyers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Substantive and Procedural Laws: The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of substantive and procedural laws, including the Insurance Act and related legislation and regulations in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • Insurance Claims Litigation: Experience in insurance claims litigation is essential for this role. The candidate must be able to critically analyze complex multi-dimensional litigation across a broad range of legal issues.
  • Legal Ethics: Knowledge of the rules and responsibilities surrounding legal ethics is crucial for this position.
