Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Medicine Hat Care Community Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Participate in activities and programs designed to promote resident engagement and well-being
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
