Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Wyndham Fallsview. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and requisitioning supplies as needed
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Criminal record check
Work Environment

This role is based in a restaurant or hotel setting, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
