Job Summary

CSA Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Health Care and Well-being Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating discussions amongst key stakeholders and developing leading edge solutions for the advancement of a diverse portfolio of national standards.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate and execute projects from start to finish, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
  • Establish and manage project processes and schedules, resource requirements, costs, quality, and risk.
  • Assess standards' needs, and develop business cases and plans to address the needs.
  • Develop proposals and contracts, and conduct financial analyses for new projects.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships and networks with stakeholders, with the ability to work well with people at all levels and with divergent interests.
  • Liaise with internal and external partners including clients, management, legal, and finance to obtain project buy-in and approvals.
  • Identify research topics and participate on research projects to help generate knowledge to inform standards and advance the program strategy.
Requirements
  • A post-secondary degree in health sciences or similar field.
  • A PMP designation is an asset.
  • A minimum of 5 years project management experience.
  • Standards development experience in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of the health and safety standards industry, government policy, or industry landscape.
  • Significant experience writing proposals, grant applications, and business plans.

  • Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills. Detail and process oriented with the ability to successfully execute and deliver projects.
  • Top-notch people skills: managing relationships, facilitating and networking with people at all levels with divergent interests, backgrounds, and goals.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Polished oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in technical writing.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software, project planning software, etc.).
  • High degree of self-motivation, resilience, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player and build capacity of peers.
