About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Employee Relations Consultant to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in enabling people managers to effectively manage high-risk and complex human resources issues, contributing to enhanced organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide risk analysis and recommendations to support informed decision-making
  • Investigate and respond to employee relations matters, including workplace conflicts and grievances
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address disability management files, reintegration, and accommodation options
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and programs
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in Employee Relations or Human Resources
  • Current accreditation and good standing with Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or a Masters of Industrial Relations (MIR)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
