Job Title: Server Analyst

Location: Remote

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Server Analyst to join our IT team. As a Server Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of our Windows Active Directory environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Create, maintain, and delete user accounts for network access.
  • Manage Exchange email resources, including mailboxes, distribution groups, and Global Address List updates.
  • Implement and maintain user security and folder permissions.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting.
  • Manage security group membership for access to files and folders.
  • Perform file and folder moves, restructuring, and permission setting.
  • Resolve customer incidents and service requests related to domain and Exchange administration.
  • Contribute to project work as needed.
  • Develop and modify domain and Exchange administration documentation, processes, and guidelines.
  • Assist with active directory cleanup.
  • Provide technical support and solutions for ministries' data and resources.
  • Provide training and support to other Domain Access Administration Team members.
  • Participate in ministry and internal projects, attend meetings, and collaborate with technical teams.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of New Technology File System Permissions and best practices.
  • Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in creating local and global security groups and applying permissions, using Microsoft Exchange 2010 Administrator to manage email accounts, using Windows 2016 Active Directory to manage objects, using a problem tracking software, using Service Now or an alternative ticket management system.
  • Nice to Have (Soft Skills): Ability to learn quickly, problem-solve, troubleshoot, work independently and in a team, manage stress and conflict, communicate effectively, and establish and maintain working relationships.
