Job Summary:

Fountain Tire is seeking a skilled Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. As a Commercial Tire Technician, you will be responsible for installing, balancing, and rotating passenger, light truck, medium truck, and commercial tires and wheels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, balance, and rotate tires and wheels for commercial vehicles
  • Complete and maintain various safety courses, including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
  • Ensure a safe working environment and maintain tire service equipment
  • Perform specialty tire work, including studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist in inventory management and documentation processes
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a team environment with a focus on hard work, concise communication, and clear heads
  • Perform physically demanding tasks with consistent hard work throughout the day
  • Consistently lift weights of approximately 55lbs
  • Work in unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy conditions
  • Stand, crouch, or kneel nearly constantly

Requirements:

  • Previous commercial tire experience, at least 1 year preferred
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract
  • After-hours and weekend availability for field service
  • Required Commercial Tire Installer Certificate
  • Excellent customer service skills and a great attitude
