About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at First Student. As a Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our students and passengers by performing maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
  • Diagnose and repair issues with our vehicles
  • Assist with mobile emergency services

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL
  • Experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
  • Valid mechanic's tool set

  • $35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • ASE incentive of $0.25/hour for each relevant ASE obtained
