Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team at Genie Distributors Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, trailers, and containers
  • Operate a variety of equipment to move materials and products, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Weigh materials and goods to ensure accurate inventory
  • Label and attach labels to goods
  • Wrap and pack goods for shipping
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods for storage
  • Install, lash, and secure goods for transportation
Work Environment

The Material Handler will work in a fast-paced environment with heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.

Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
