Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at 8344795 CANADA INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and supply chain functions of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement logistics plans to ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics performance and trends.
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
  • Conduct performance reviews and coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure high-quality results.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail.
  • Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Personal suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, analytical, proactive.
