We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Heritage Family Dental Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations and ensure their comfort throughout the process.
- Order dental and office supplies to maintain a well-stocked and efficient work environment.
- Prepare dental instruments and filling materials for procedures, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Maintain and order supplies to prevent stockouts and ensure seamless operations.
- Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients concerning oral hygiene and provide personalized guidance to promote healthy habits.
- Schedule and confirm appointments to minimize wait times and maximize productivity.
- Take and develop X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Record dental procedures performed on patients and maintain accurate records.
- Invoice patients for dental services in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience in a dental setting.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a dental assistant role.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
