Human Resources Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Advisor to support our client in the Mining and Metal industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide human resource support to Human Resource Business Partners, leaders, and employees within the client group.
  • Assist in implementing human resources programs and policies within the business.
  • Support leaders and Human Resource Business Partners with operational projects and recurring annual activities such as salary review, talent review, and performance management.
  • Advise on human resources policies and procedures, employee relations, performance, labor, and regulatory issues.
  • Provide feedback on policies, procedures, and programs to AoEs.
  • Coach leaders to support effective workplace relationships and increase skill level in employee management.
  • Develop skills and provide advice, support, and coaching in the use of human resources systems (e.g., remuneration/benefits, performance management).
  • Conduct investigations into breaches of policy and procedure.
  • Lead special projects and other initiatives (e.g., employee engagement, performance and capability improvement, attraction and retention initiatives).
  • Identify improvement initiatives in human resources processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • CHRP certification is an asset.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Workday is an asset.
  • Experience in the mining and metal industry or a large organization.
  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).

  • Hourly salary of $44 to $47 based on experience.
  • 10-month contract: parental leave replacement position.
  • Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
  • Hybrid work: In-office presence required 2-3 days per week.
